siger Christian Steinø, adm. direktør i MyDefence.

If it goes to the government plans, a future defense settlement will have a significant digital and technological focal point. The government considers cyber attacks, hacking and digital espionage as a similar threat to Denmark and Danish interests as more conventional threats are. “Personally, I think cyber attacks can be as destructive to Denmark as a military attack,” said the minister of defense, hoping that Danish technology companies will engage in dialogue when a political agreement is announced today.

“Fortunately, Danish companies in the individual areas are both very bright and competitive. So of course, here is a clear opportunity for Danish companies,” – Claus Hjort Frederiksen, Minister of Defense “

The government also proposes that Denmark build up the national’s defence drone technology capacity, and here the company MyDefence sees an opportunity. MyDefence is one of the world’s leaders in anti-droning technology, as for frontline soldiers is as important as using drones for surveillance and attack.

“We already have a number of military customers and the market for anti-droning technology is on the rise. For us, it is very exciting if the defense budget gets such a significant boost while saying openly that more technology must be invested, including in drone technology, “

says Christian Steinø, CEO of MyDefence.
