The FT100 is an update tool for the MyDefence Wingman and Pitbull series. It presents a stand-alone tool that enables users with a reliable and easy way to firmware upgrade.  

The FT100 uses a memory card to update the Wingman and Pitbull with firmware that can be provided directly to the user over a secure connection. This eliminates requirement for additional update equipment. It can check the existing firmware version on the Wingman and Pitbull and provide this information to the user to determine the need for a firmware update. 

The advantage of the FT100 is that it makes it very easy for the end-user to update the products in the field. No need to ship it back to the ‘office/headquarters’ for updates and meanwhile loose the C-UAV capability in the field for a longer period. So, with FT100 it is easy to always have the newest version of the software on the units. This advantage applies whether the end-user is within the military, law enforcement, or security agency or other.
